What are the benefits of taking AP Psychology?

I have had the pleasure of teaching the course since 2001.  As of the end of the 2023 school year, 701 students have taken the AP Psychology exam.  Nearly three quarters of those students (71%) have passed the exam with a score that would earn them college credit. 

 

I have served as a reader for the AP Psychology exam since 2007.  I have seen first-hand the rigor of the exam & how our Norwin students compare with students from around the world.  I can say, with great confidence, that Norwin High School students can hold their own!  With adequate preparation, which the AP Psychology course provides, our Norwin students are capable of having great success.
