Reopening of Schools Plan Approved

Norwin School District plans to begin the school year on Monday, August 31, 2020 with a hybrid operational model that balances in-person and remote learning for students.

The Norwin School Reopening Health and Safety plan was approved by the Norwin Board of Education at a special meeting held Thursday, July 30, 2020. The Board also approved a revised school calendar that delays the first student day until August 31st.

Hours

High School Summer Hours

Main Office - Summer Hours. The Main Office is opened Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The office will be closed from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
Attendance

ATTENDANCE FORM - 2019-2020

The absence, early dismissal & tardy forms have been combined into one attendance form. Please dispose of all previous forms & use the attached form. Health Care Appointments - In order to obtain a valid physician’s excuse, students must be seen by a physician in his or her office or hospital. Telephone excuses will not be accepted. Medical excuses will not be included when considering disciplinary action and/or loss of privileges due to excessive absences.
