English 9

English 9 is a great introduction to high school English - filled with classic texts like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Romeo and Juliet" as well as regular writing assignments. But we also have a good time - we play Literary Term Bingo; we debate guilt and innocence; we create One-Pagers that showcase learning. All in all, it's not a bad way to spend 45 minutes of your day! We use iPads pretty regularly, so students should always have a charged iPad as well as a 3 ring binder with 5 dividers. It is easiest if the binder is solely for English class, but it certainly isn't required. We also have a website that is used daily. It is here that all notes are posted, assignments and due dates can be found, and weekly schedules are provided.
