Meet the Teacher

As a graduate of Norwin High School, I'm glad to have returned to the district in 2012.  After high school, I attended Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Language Arts Education.  After graduating, I taught for 4 years at Edgewood High School in Edgewood, Maryland where I taught 9th/10th grade English, Creative Writing, and 9th grade English in the International Baccalaureate Programme.  While teaching, I earned my Master's Degree from Ashland University in Creative Non-Fiction.  

 

I love being back at Norwin where I get to bring my experience and love of writing and literature to future generations of Norwin Knights.  I strive to teach real-life skills alongside classic and modern works and aim to create a classroom where students feel confident, comfortable, and welcome.
