About Me

My name is Mrs. Cheplick and I have many roles here at Norwin.

I am a Special Education Teacher for students in 9th grade through age 21, and I am the Transition Coordinator for the district. My office is in the Alternative Learning Center, but I can also be found in room 133A, teaching students who participate in the Norwin Works! program.

My main focus is on Transition, which is simply helping students figure out what life path they want to take once they graduate high school. I also help connect students and their families to outside support agencies. I provide resources to parents by hosting parent training throughout the year. While I work mainly with learning support students, I can provide resources to all students regarding job opportunities within the community.

On a personal note, I am married with 7 wonderful children.  We have a chocolate lab named Kody, a cat named Mia, and 25 backyard chickens- and my little boys bring home all kinds of snakes, bugs, toads, and other creepy crawlies that I would rather not think about.  I enjoy gardening, picking blueberries, and baking when I have time.
