Norwin High School Student Council
Norwin High School Student Council is one of the most active organizations at Norwin High School. The club sponsors several school & community oriented events, such as our Homecoming celebration (including our Homecoming carnival, the coronation of the Homecoming King & Queen during the football game, our traditional parade in downtown Irwin, & Homecoming dance), our Candy Cane Castle breakfast, & our Annual Senior Citizen's Dinner. Student Council "does it all". As an organization, we conduct Norwin's annual "Pink-Out" campaign, "Make Cancer Fly Away", host Freshman orientation, serve as hosts for Open House, organize the New Student Luncheon, provide a team for Race for Grace, sponsor "Project 65" a fundraiser for the cystic fibrosis Foundation, sponsor dances, assemblies, support school & community causes, & represent the student body at Norwin School Board meetings. By providing a voice for the student body, we continue to attempt to "change the culture" of Norwin High School.
