Norwin Show Choir

The Norwin Show Choir is the top performing choral ensemble at Norwin High School. The students audition each spring to be part of this select singing group. The group ranges from 30-40 singers in 10-12th grade. The Show Choir has performed  from New York City, NY to Walt Disney World, FL. Most years, the Show Choir travels to perform in choral competitions in the spring semester. At these competitions, the Show Choir has achieved top honors including First Place High School Choir, First Place Show Choir, and the Esprit de Corps Award (for outstanding work on and off the stage).

Although these students are outstanding performers, the students focus talents on service learning. Since 1998, the Show Choir has collaborated with the HEARTH Shelter in Pittsburgh to help raise money for the women and children at the shelter. The Expressions in Harmony Foundation was a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to foster community service and funds raised by the Show Choir.
