Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers is the only top competitive mixed choir at Norwin High School. Students must audition each spring to be a part of this select choir. Each Spring, the Chamber Singers compete throughout cities on the east coast and has even had the honor of performing on the Main Stage at Walt Disney World, Florida. Through professional adjudications, this ensemble consistently receives Superior Ratings and holds titles in First Place Mixed Choir, Best Overall Choir, and has earned the Esprit de Corps Award. Esprit de Corps recognizes the common spirit existing in the members of a group and inspiring enthusiasm, devotion, and strong regard for the honor of the group.

Throughout the community, the NHS Chamber Singers have had the honor to perform for Martin Luther King Jr. Ceremonies, Memorial Services, Pittsburgh River City Brass Concerts, Westmoreland Symphony Concerts, Norwin Retirement Celebrations, Veterans Day Ceremonies, & Homecoming events at Knights Stadium. Students involved are not only gifted musicians but enjoy the opportunity to achieve excellence through hard work and a passion for music and singing. Such level of dedication continues to inspire audiences through each and every performance!
