Background Information:

Hello. This will be my twelfth year at Norwin School District. I taught Physics and 6th grade Earth Science in Pittsburgh Public Schools at Oliver High School and CAPA prior to coming to Norwin. I graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelors in Physics and also a Bachelors in Secondary Education. My focus of studies, in addition to Education, was in Astrophysics. I earned my Masters of Science in Education with a certificate in Computer Science Education through the College of St. Scholastica in the summer of 2018.  As an undergraduate, I was a leader within a number of organizations and worked at a local camp and conference center for 5 summers as a Counselor and the Head Lifeguard/Waterfront Supervisor.

I have had the pleasure to have taught all available levels of Physics offered to Juniors as well as the electives Physics in Medicine and Electricity and Magnetism offered to Seniors. I truly look forward to meeting you and working with you this upcoming school year and am especially excited to share my enthusiasm for the content of Physics with you.
