Welcome

For most of her educational career, Ms. Jones has been a proud Norwin Knight and is honored to serve the community as an assistant principal at the high school. She is passionate about removing obstacles to learning and creating an inclusive school culture where all students can showcase their unique talents to make contributions and feel valued, supported, and connected to the school community. Ms. Jones looks forward to collaborating with students, faculty, administration, and community members to engage students in a safe and positive school environment. She is a graduate of Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Communications Management and went on to earn her Secondary English Certification from St. Vincent College and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, she taught in the Westmont Hilltop School District, Central Dauphin School District and at Norwin where she also served as the Student Assistance Program Coordinator, Alternative Learning Center Director, and the Dean of Students. Ms. Jones lives in North Huntingdon with her family. She enjoys cheering on Norwin sports teams, supporting all Norwin student activities, volunteering in the community, and spending time with friends and family.
