Model United Nations

 Welcome to Model UN!

Model UN is a club that is geared towards creating a greater understanding of real world problems and events.  The club provides students with the opportunity to assume the role of a United Nations delegate while participating in different discussions and conferences where the problems are debated. The club also provides students with the chance to improve their speaking and debating skills since they will be required to speak in front of large groups of people at conferences.

During the 2022-2023 school year, Model UN participated in several conferences at several colleges including:

The University of Pittsburgh (Model UN, European Union, Asia Challenge)

The University of Virginia

American University

Duquesne University

Westminster College

University of Virginia Model UN Students

Students participating at the University of Virginia.

At the University of Virginia, Norwin students received the Outstanding Delegation award as a team as well as several individual awards including Best Delegate.
