Mrs. Tanya Martin

Hello!  I am so glad to be teaching here at Norwin!  I grew up in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic in 1992.  I attended Slippery Rock University where I completed a Bachelors in Secondary Education Mathematics.  This is my 25th year at Norwin! I have had the pleasure of teaching mathematics at both the high school and middle school levels.  Five years ago, I received my certificate in Business, Computers, and Information Technology, K-12, and began teaching BCIT here at the high school. I am currently enrolled in Commonwealth University, Bloomsburg, for a Masters in Business Education. This year I will be teaching Introduction to Business (College in the High School through WCCC), Money Matters, and Investing in Your Future. 

I have been married to my husband, Jayson, for 28 years and have two wonderful children, Tyler and Abbigail.  Ty is at Duquesne University for his Masters in Finance.  Abbi graduated from Carlow University in Health Management and is working for UPMC Shadyside.  In my free time I enjoy reading, playing with my dog Stella, and spending time with my family.
