Peer Mentor and Buddy Club Mission Statement

Through the various school and community activities, a life time of valuable experiences provide “all” students with a sense of responsibility, school spirit, and establishment of friendships.  Members work together, learn together and come together as a school community.

Norwin High Schools Peer Mentor & Buddy Club enables students to support others who have intellectual or physical disabilities and encourages unity among all students. The group consists of over ninety regular education students who volunteer their talents, time, and strengths to help students with special needs. The goal of the program is to help improve students social, communication, life skills, and enhance friendships.  Students may choose to tutor their buddy or include him or her when going to sporting events, community activities or dances.
