Scheduling Information for Current 8th Grade Students
Norwin's Scheduling Fair was held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium and cafeteria. Listed below are materials that were provided to students and parents. 
8th grade students will put in course requests through Skyward on their own. The scheduling window for current 8th grade students will open at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. The window will remain open until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020. Middle School Counselors will start meeting with students once the scheduling window has closed.
The materials below were provided to the incoming 9th grade students on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 during their scheduling orientation with the high school counselors. 
Scheduling Fair Student Preview
The high school welcomed all 8th grade student during the morning of Wednesday, January 15, 2020 for a Scheduling Fair Student Preview. The focus of the visit was for students to receive information about course offerings from each department at the high school. Students also participated in a tour of the building. The tours were given by the high school student council. The presentation for the Scheduling Fair Preview and a few pictures of the event is below.
Scheduling Information for Current High School Students
Counselors met with high school students to begin the scheduling process on January 21, 2020. Counselors met with students in large group assemblies (by grade level) to explain the scheduling process and review what courses students should be taking next school year. Students will participate in a Scheduling Day on January 22, 2020 during which teachers will recommend courses for next year.
Students will be given the opportunity to schedule through Skyward on their own from January 24, 2020 starting at 3:00 p.m. through January 30, 2020 until 3:00 p.m. Counselors will start meeting with students individually on February 3, 2020.


IMPORTANT - a student can only schedule with their user name and password - parent user names and passwords will NOT give students access to the scheduling tab. If a student needs his/her user name and password, please see your counselor ASAP.
