Mr. Timothy McCabe

Mr. McCabe has been with the Norwin School District for 29 years. He has served the district in many capacities throughout his career. Prior to being hired as an Assistant Principal at Norwin High School, he taught secondary Social Studies for ten years. He also served as Home and School Visitor and Director of the Alternative Learning Center.  Mr McCabe is beginning his 6th year as an Assistant Principal. 

Mr. McCabe coached football for twenty years and was the Head Football Coach at his alma mater, Norwin High School, from 1993-2003. His leadership experience includes contributing to school safety and the District’s emergency planning. Mr. McCabe has also served the last several years as Norwin High School’s Dean of Students.

Mr. McCabe earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from California University of Pennsylvania and his K-12 Principal Certification as well a Masters Equivalency and Home and School Certifications from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. McCabe resides in North Huntingdon with his wife Amy and their two sons. In addition to spending time with his family Mr. McCabe is an avid hunter, and loves all sports.
